Terms: $400 (Live Foal Guarantee) Payable when mare arrives at Breezeway
Farm.
$10.00/day mare care
Upon arrival at Breezeway Farm mare owners are to provide:
1) Check for the stud fee in the amount of $400
2) A NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST
3) A clean culture report done within 30 days (unless the mare is
a maiden or has a foal at her side.)
4) Proof of innoculations done within three months including Eastern
and Western influenza, tetanus, rhino; within six months Potomac
Horse Fever and West Nile and rabies within one year.
5) Worming done within the last two weeks.
6) Mare should be unshod.
Mare care will be charged at time mare is picked up. Number of
days X $10.00 Any additional fees will be paid for at that time as well. The
mare will not be released until all fees and bills are paid.
Breezeway Farm agrees to breed the above mare to Medicine Man.
Should the mare not produce a live foal that stands and nurses,
the mare owner will be entitled to a return breeding or the stud
fee will be returned. A veterinarian's statement with details must
be received within 10 days of the foal's death. If the mare does
not get in foal, the stud fee will be returned upon receipt of veterinarian's
statement that the mare is not in foal.
By signing the agreement below the mare owner(s) empower Mimi Hirsch
to act as their agent in case of extreme emergency concerning the
mare (and/or foal.) Breezeway Farm will exercise care for the mare
while she is at Breezeway Farm. However, we will not be held responsible
for injuries or accidents which might occur.
Mare owners must read the following statement and sign. Their signature
indicates agreement with this contract in its entirety.
I hereby release Ms. Mimi Hirsch and Breezeway Farm in full from
any and all liability or responsibility for any death, disease,
injury, infection, accident or otherwise and by any cause whatsoever,
to my mare and/or foal, and I am similarly released from any liability
concerning Medicine Man.
